  • Romance, revelry, and enchanting music ignite in this contemporary, yet lovingly faithful, musical adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy. Using the original text, Love's Labour's Lost reunites Obie Award winner, Michael Friedman (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Fortress of Solitude) and two-time Tony Award nominee, Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher) as they bring their one-of-a-kind sensibility to the immortal words of the Bard.

The King and his best buds decide at their five-year college reunion to swear off the joys of women. But when four cute, clever girls from their past show up, they're forced to reconsider all of that nonsense! Add in an outlandish Spanish exchange student, a performance art-loving professor, and an entire brass band, and love and devotion are put to the test with hilarious results.

  • Hedwig and the Angry Inch follows Hedwig, a queer East German rock singer-songwriter who survived a botched sex-change operation and immigrated to the U.S. While touring dive bars and small theatres, Hedwig tells her life story with wit and glitter while pursuing a rock star ex-lover who stole her songs. Through glam-rock anthems and darkly comic monologues, Hedwig recounts her journey from East Berlin to a trailer park in Kansas, ultimately finding redemption through self-acceptance rather than the love or fame she's been chasing.

Rick Pulos will direct with Bran Kempf playing the internationally ignored song stylist . Open auditions will be held for Yitzhak, Hedwig’s husband and back-up singer. Rick previously directed 1776: The Musical and designed projections for our 2023 production of CABARET. He's excited to bring Hedwig to the Brazos Valley. Rick said, "Hedwig is a witty and powerful show about one of the most fascinating characters in all of American musical history. With a punk rock aesthetic and attitude, Hedwig will have you laughing, crying, and thinking about what it means to be an American."

  • Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all-new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.

"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.

  • A picture is worth 1,000 words — what about a song? In this intricately woven collection of stories told through song, you will see how one photograph can inspire an entirely new kind of musical. In 35mm, each photo creates a unique song, moments frozen in time; a glimmer of a life unfolding, a glimpse of something happening. This intricately woven collection of stories told through song reimagines what the modern American musical can be.

Savannah Barrera will be directing this production, which has been a dream of hers since she was 14 years old. “A journey through the expanse of human emotions, this show has continued to find new ways to resonate with me in every new stage of my life,” she says.  “It is also going to be an incredible showcase of some of the vocal talent we have here in BCS, and I am beyond thrilled to share the experience that is 35mm with everyone.”
