Artistic Director

Adrienne Dobson

In July 2017, Adrienne Dobson was named artistic director of The Theatre Company. Adrienne has been a familiar face around the theater since 2002 when she appeared in The Wizard of Oz, her first performance with the company. The next year, she choreographed her first Theatre Company production, The Secret Garden.

Since then, she has performed in, or choreographed, numerous productions and took over directing Sweeney Todd in November 2016 when longtime artistic director Randy Wilson fell ill and passed away. In the uncertain months that followed, Adrienne proved to be a rock as she directed an amazing Fiddler on the Roof, a delightful Big River and the challenging dual production of Stephen Sondheim’s Passion and Assassins.

In her day job, Adrienne is vice president of operations at Customer Impact, a mystery shopping and customer service measurement company.

Our Theatre

TTC productions are staged in a former movie theater that has been redesigned to suit live theater. Due to generous contributions from our friends and countless volunteer hours, the TTC stage is the only one in the State of Texas to feature two permanent revolving platforms built right into the stage! The stage also has a thrust portion that brings the fun and excitement right into the audience. TTC has state-of-the-art sound and light systems. Our theater seats approximately 220 patrons.
