The Theatre Company of Bryan-College Station is a community theater performance group dedicated to the presentation of high quality productions suitable for family audiences at an affordable price. This mission includes providing community enrichment through the production and educational components that accompany TTC productions.
Writer, composer, director, choreographer, actor, singer - Randy Wilson is a mixture of
all these talents! For thirty years, Randy has enthralled audiences from the stage,
typewriter, director and choreographer's chair, from Bryan to Broadway! For the past decade,
we have been privileged to have Randy as the Theatre Company’s Artistic Director. His love
of the Brazos Valley and this theatre affords us a director whose qualifications would
certainly allow him a much larger venue if he so chose. Randy’s presence continues to enrich
our community and we hope this is just the beginning. Perhaps best known for his Broadway
portryal of Pontius Pilot in Jesus Christ Superstar and subsequently as Jesus in the
Broadway National Tour of the same play, Randy Wilson has appeared in 36 plays to date from
the Baylor University Mainstage, to the New York City Shakespeare Festival, Monte Carlo du
Monaco, Dallas Repertory Theatre, SUNY, Long Island New York, Lion Theatre Company, North
Carolina and much more. Randy toured with Richard Harris and even appeared on Saturday Night
Live in 1976! Randy has directed over 77 plays including 47 at the Theatre Company of
Bryan/College Station. He has written and composed over 16 plays, books, musical scores and
dramatizations that have been performed from Bryan to New York City. His Duel was recorded on
the original cast recording for the Lion Theatre Company, New York City and in 1997, he
received the Mayor’s Award for Historic Preservation for his play, Heart of the Valley. We’re
privilged to have a director with Randy’s talent and credentials!
